We accept check or VISA/MasterCard. We do not accept cash.

If payment is not received on or before your next scheduled delivery day we may choose not to make that and any subsequent delivery until payment is received in full. You can also pay for the month in advance.

Can I have a standing order?

Yes. Most of our customers find a size of box that works for their situation and set up a weekly or every other week delivery. Please feel free to call with add-ons.

How much do the boxes weigh?

The boxes are not based on weight, but on the retail value of the items on the menu that particular week, and the weight will vary with the items in the box. I regularly check our prices against the local stores and we are usually 10 -15 % cheaper than the retail store.

TOP

Is there a delivery charge?

There is no delivery fee if your order includes one of our standard boxes of produce because the cost of delivery is included in the price of the box. Non-box orders will incur an additional $3.50 delivery fee.

Is there tax?

There is no additional tax.  The price listed on your bill is the total price.

TOP

Can I substitute certain items in the box with something else?

Yes, you may substitute items in your box. We recognize that not everyone likes everything so we design our menus around more of the common produce items. We also offer extra items for sale that you can add to compliment your delivery.

TOP

How can I know what is being delivered in advance of our delivery day?

Thursday afternoons we update our website with the menu of each box for the following week. NOTE: Please remember that the items are subject to change due to quantity or quality issues.

What do you deliver in the winter months?

Our focus is always local first. When local produce is unavailable we purchase certified organic produce from trusted suppliers.

TOP

Do you sell produce at your farm?

Presently, we do not have a retail outlet on our farm. We have chosen to focus our efforts on home delivery.

TOP

Is everything in the box certified organic?

Everything in the box is certified organic unless otherwise noted.

TOP

Are you a Certified Organic Farm?

In 2002 we decided not to recertify our farm as organic. It was a hard decision for us, but after talking with our customers it become obvious that they wanted to support local farmers and healthy food. At any point in the future we would be able to fill out the USDA Organic paperwork and pay the fees and recertify our farm. Our farm is currently certified a Salmon Safe Farm with Stewardship Partners.

The fruits and vegetables from our farm are grown in a manner consistent with our belief that Healthy Food comes from Healthy Soils. Therefore we do not use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers on our fields.

When we provide produce from our farm in the boxes we use the Local Salmon Safe label.
